General
- Payment Terms
The total amount of the Purchase Price shall be payable in full by Buyer according to the payment due date. In addition, Seller shall have the right to pursue any remedies available at law or as provided herein and shall be entitled to reimbursement from Buyer for Seller’s costs of collection, including attorney fees, legal fees and costs and disbursements, if any.
- Delivery
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery shall be made in accordance with Seller’s shipping policy in effect on the date of shipment. Delivery dates provided by Seller are estimates only. Seller will make reasonable efforts to deliver in accordance with such dates; however, Seller will not be liable for failure to deliver as estimated. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by Seller, Goods shall be packaged according to Seller’s standards and practices.
- Customs, Duties, and Taxes
The recipient is responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from us, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of India may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; the recipient should contact their local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Customs, duties and taxes may be collected from the recipient by the carrier after paying it to the local customs office on recipient’s behalf. Similarly, Octroi charges, as applicable, will be collected by the carrier from the consignee (recipient).
The recipient will submit social security number, tax ID or any such proof of address or business as required by their customs office to have the shipment cleared.
- Disclaimer of Warranty/Limitation of Liability
Seller undertakes no responsibility for the quality of the Goods or that the Goods will be fit for any particular purpose for which Buyer may be buying the Goods, except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, and Seller disclaims all other warranties and conditions, express or implied.
- Colour Disclaimer
The colours of products you see on computer screen will vary slightly from those of the actual product. This is because of the difference in underlying technologies of computer monitors and fabric; monitors that are not properly calibrated also add to the difference in colours. In addition, the lighting used while taking photographs also factor in the final colour shown on the screen.
Delivery
SuRang Sarees is committed to deliver your order with good quality packaging within given time frame. We ship throughout the week, except Sunday & Public holidays. To ensure that your order reaches you in good condition, in the shortest span of time, we ship through reputed courier agencies only.
Shipping within India takes roughly 3-5 working days. International shipping takes around 5-10 working days depending on the location. Sometimes there might be unforeseen delays for reasons beyond our control. We will keep you informed.
Shipping cost would be on actuals as calculated as per your pincode.
For international delivery, the customer will have to pay import customs duty, if such duty is applicable in the destination country on handloom products sourced from India.
For a single order placed, we normally combine multiple products in a single box . Additional charges may be applicable should you wish to receive all the products in your order in individual boxes.
For certain remote locations in India, our courier / transport partner may levy an additional surcharge for shipping. In such an event, the customer shall have to pay a “remote area surcharge”. The customer will be informed about such a surcharge in advance before completion of the billing transaction.
Kindly note that the delivery times mentioned are indicative only. In rare cases deliveries might be delayed due to factors beyond our control including unexpected travel delays from our courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions and strikes.
Cancellations
- You may cancel your order before it has been shipped, provided that no tassels and/or fall pico have been added on your request. Should you cancel your order, you will receive a credit amount equivalent to the value of your order for any subsequent purchase on the website. If you wish to receive a refund instead, any bank processing charges will be borne by you and will be deducted from the total before the refund.
- Only unstitched garments (saris, stoles and dupattas) are eligible for cancellations. Orders for fabrics and apparel/ garments cannot be cancelled.
- Please note that since our products are handwoven, we mostly have one of each kind at a time. Also, as the fabrics are pure and the weaves delicate, each garment requires very careful handling. Hence, we are able to offer cancellations, returns or exchanges only in extreme circumstances.
Returns
- Returns will only be accepted in the case of a manufacturing defect or dispatch of incorrect item.
- Apparel/ garments cannot be returned.
- Your return request should be sent by email to surangonline103@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. Requests send after 48 hours of delivery of parcel will not be eligible for returns.
- If you receive your order in a parcel and packaging that appears to have been tampered with, damaged or is in an unsealed condition, you are advised notto accept such a parcel and do notopen the package. Kindly immediately get in touch with us.
- In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrived damaged, you need to email us a photo of the damaged packaging along with the return request
- Upon receipt of your request, we shall examine the same and send you an authorization of return/exchange within 5 working days.
- The product being returned/exchanged must be in its original unused condition and sent along with original bill and tags intact.
