Our Story
SuRang was set up to bring handpicked, unique, exquisite silk sarees from Kanjivaram weavers directly to silk saree lovers. Over a period of time the effort of bringing in unique, authentic silks from the weavers to your homes has multiled and today SuRang is connectd with weaves and artisans across India.
The name is symbolic of a cocoon of the silk worm – representing a focused , meticulous process that one has to go through to bring out the best, something unique and exclusive.
The literal meaning of ‘SuRang’ is good colours. Our love for colours allows us to embrace them in the best way possible.
‘SuRang’ in hindi also means a tunnel, true to its nature a tunnel end in a brighter, more colourful future!
The encouragement and support from all our customers has tremendously helped us along our journey and formed our rock solid foundation.
Meet the Founder
Suman has an ardent love for 6 yards, from the colours, to the weave , the draping styles and the minute zari work – she loves it all.
She has an eye for detail and loves colours. She started SuRang keeping these two things at the center point
